We Opened Because the Neighborhood Deserved Better Lunch
Uptown Deli started with a simple frustration: why was the best thing within walking distance a gas station sandwich? So we built something different — a place where the bread is baked local, the meats are sourced with actual thought, and the coffee is worth waking up for.
Four years later, we're still here on North Sheridan Road, still making things from scratch, and still surprised when regulars tell us we're their favorite spot in the neighborhood. We don't take that lightly.
